(2) Enhanced Repair Station and Air Carrier Oversight Program (778K)

    The FAA recently released a new Handbook Bulletin containing the framework for a new risk-based oversight system. HBAW 05-07 also includes numerous attachments which make extensive changes to Order 8300.10, the Airworthiness Inspector’s Handbook. This system will allow for ongoing assessment of repair stations and air carriers through enhanced oversight of those contract maintenance providers deemed to be “high risk.”

    HBAW0503 Introduction to Chapter-RSTP: Review and Approve a Part 145 Repair Station’s Training Program. This is your FAA Inspector’s guidance on evaluating your training program.

(4) On the Job Training Form (778K)

    Formalize your On the Job Training OJT, this form will assist you in formalizing your OJT and complying with the requirements of the new repair station training program.

(5) Acknowledgement Form (778K)

    This is the FAA Advisory Circular for the Repair Station Training Program.

(7) AC 120.72 Human Factors AC (778K)

    This advisory circular (AC) presents guidelines for developing, implementing,reinforcing, and assessing Maintenance Resource Management (MRM - Human Factors) training programs for improving communication, effectiveness, and safety in maintenance operations.

(8) Employee Assessment Form (778K)

    AC 145-10 requires repair stations to assess their employees. This form will help you in performance of this task.

(9) Employment Summary Form (778K)

    Part 145.161(4) requires repair stations to maintain an employment summary on employees. The requirements are specific. This form may be used as an example of a stand alone employment summary sheet for your employees.

(10) Training Certificate (778K)

    At the end of every Blue Tuna On Line Training course there is a quiz. The quiz (when completed) generates a report that is automatically sent to the student's supervisor. This report serves as certificate as well. However, some companies prefer to have a certificate that can be displayed. This training certificate serves that purpose. It is interactive. Just download the Training Certificate. Keep a uncompleted copy in reserve. Just highlight the areas you wish to input and type. For areas you wish to leave blank just highlight and hit the delete key on your keyboard. This is simple and easy to use.
